Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited is seeking a Manager for Core Operations in Ahmedabad, responsible for ensuring uptime and maintenance of Core Nodes, including MSS/MGW/GCS/GMGW. The role requires expertise in Nokia and Ericsson technologies, managing a team, and integrating new nodes. The ideal candidate should have a B.E in Electronics and Communication and a strong grasp of 2G to VOLTE network call flows. Candidates are expected to possess hands-on experience and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining 100% uptime of all Core Nodes.
• MSS and MGW Hardware and Spare Management.
• Periodic Core Nodes System and External Backup.
• Support measures to address Customer Complaints.
• Integrate POI, BSC, and RNC with Core Nodes.
• Daily configurations in Core Nodes.
• Maintain Network Performance KPIs as per Threshold.
• Support New Nodes Integration and Commissioning.
• Assist in MOP integration and related activities.
• Handle Care Cases and Operational Emergencies.

Skills

Hands on Experience on CS Core nodes of Nokia or Ericsson or both

Thorough knowledge of Call flow of 2G, 3G, 4G and VOLTE

Nokia UDR command line hands on

Nokia VOLTE nodes Hands on experience

Knowledge of PACO and or IP domain

Job Purpose
