Job summary

NuSummit is seeking an experienced Core Network Engineer to support a large-scale APAC Network Fleet Management Program. The role covers planning, migration execution, configuration management, validation and troubleshooting across global data centers.

The position involves planning, lifecycle ownership, and coordinating maintenance windows, with focus on Cisco Nexus and Arista MOS-to-EOS migrations. Mumbai-based, on-site role.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of Network Engineering experience.
• Experience in Data Center migration projects.
• Cisco Nexus implementation and hardware refresh experience.
• Hardware refresh projects and production maintenance window execution.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute data center migrations.
• Validate inventories, interfaces, and network topology.
• Perform Cisco Nexus 3172 hardware refreshes and Arista 7130 MOS-to-EOS migrations.
• Create and update operational runbooks and validation reports.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Core Network Engineer to support a large-scale APAC Network Fleet Management Program involving Cisco Nexus hardware refreshes, Arista MOS-to-EOS migrations, and Cisco Catalyst/Nexus management network refresh activities across multiple global data centers.

The engineer will be responsible for planning, migration execution, configuration management, validation, troubleshooting, and technical ownership throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Location - Mumbai (Chandivali)

Responsibilities

Planning & Discovery

• Participate in technical discovery workshops.
• Validate device inventory, interface mappings, and network topology.
• Review configuration baselines and migration prerequisites.
• Assess site-specific technical dependencies.

Network Migration

• Execute Cisco Nexus 3172 hardware refreshes.
• Perform Arista 7130 MOS to EOS migrations.
• Execute software upgrades and firmware migrations.
• Manage switch reloads and maintenance window activities.

Configuration Management

• Take complete configuration backups.
• Capture routing tables, MAC tables, STP topology, CPU & Memory utilization.
• Stage software images via SFTP/HTTPS.
