Responsibilities
Network Operations & Support
- Administer and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 network components.
- Configure, operate, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst 9300 and 9500 switch platforms.
- Maintain and optimize routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
- Support and manage WLAN infrastructure including controllers and access points.
- Monitor network performance to ensure stability, uptime, and optimal functionality.
- Act as the regional point of contact for addressing and resolving factory network‑related issues.
- Collaborate with global network teams and local IT to align with standards, policies, and best practices.
Project & Coordination Responsibilities
- Contribute to network design initiatives, system upgrades, and regional rollout projects.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for network installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and architecture records.
- Support modernization initiatives, segmentation projects, and network security enhancements.
Budgeting & Procurement
- Prepare annual and project‑specific budget forecasts for network operations.
- Coordinate procurement for hardware, licenses, and professional services.
- Review vendor proposals, evaluate quotations, and monitor purchase orders.
- Maintain network asset inventory and assist with lifecycle and refresh planning.
Technical Skills
- Strong command of Cisco‑based L2/L3 switching technologies.
- Hands‑on expertise with Cisco Catalyst 9300 and 9500.
- Solid understanding of OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP routing protocols.
- Experience supporting enterprise WLAN environments.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.
- Good understanding of ACLs, VLANs, segmentation strategies, and NAC principles.
Professional Skills
- Excellent coordination, vendor management, and stakeholder communication abilities.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, particularly under high‑pressure situations.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical details with both global teams and local stakeholders.
- Experience in preparing budgets, procurement documentation, and network reports.
Preferred Certifications
- CCNA / CCNA Enterprise
- Cisco Wireless (preferred)
- ITIL Foundation (optional)
Experience
- 4‑7 years of experience in enterprise network operations.
- Experience working within manufacturing or factory environments is preferred.
