Job summary

Jio invites applications for the role Core Maintenance Fiber Engineer in Maharashtra locations: Akola, Latur, Nanded, Nashik. Candidates should have 5–10 years of experience and BE in ENTC/Mechanical/Electrical.

Responsibilities include managing assets and contracts, monitoring fiber network SLAs, coordinating with the NOC, ensuring material availability in CMP warehouse and driving KPI achievements while upholding HSE policies.

Qualifications

• BE in ENTC/Mechanical/Electrical
• Experience 5–10 years in fiber maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of installation and troubleshooting of optical fibre cables.

Responsibilities

• Manage assets, materials and contracts for the core maintenance point.
• Monitor fiber network performance against defined SLAs.
• Support infra and access electronics maintenance against SLAs.
• Provide details of fiber spans for inter, intra and access network.
• Coordinate with network operations center for issue resolution.
• Collaborate with operation and maintenance/ISP core teams for critical issue resolution.
• Ensure sufficient material in CMP warehouse for fiber operation.
• Drive and monitor KPI achievements.
• Ensure implementation of quality, health, safety, environment and fire policies.
• Maintain quality of fiber network and insulation of work during fault restoration.
