The Coordinator role at Oshin Infotech Services' teleradiology unit manages the end-to-end case workflow, ensuring timely assignment to radiologists and clear client communication. The position requires coordinating across technicians, radiologists and management in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

You will monitor PACS/RIS platforms, maintain case timelines, support clinical information requests, and uphold client SLAs with professional escalation when needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience in teleradiology/hospital coordination preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in operations or coordination roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PACS and platform for incoming case load and track status.
• Assign cases to radiologists by expertise and modality within minutes.
• Coordinate with clients via WhatsApp and calls during shifts and update timelines.
• Ensure cases adhere to modality-specific TAT and escalate delays.
• Support radiologists with clinical information and history when needed.
• Handle client and radiologist escalations promptly and professionally.
• Maintain shift handover docs and ensure smooth team coordination.
• Build strong relationships with technicians, radiologists and clients.

Job Description Coordinator – Teleradiology

Department: Operations

Reports To: Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time (24/7 Rotational Shifts with Rotational Off)

Role Overview

The Coordinator is responsible for managing the complete case workflow within the teleradiology platform. The role ensures timely case assignment, effective client coordination, radiologist utilisation, and adherence TAT. The coordinator acts as the central communication link between clients, technicians, radiologists, and management.

Key Responsibilities

1. PACS & Case Load Monitoring

• Actively monitor PACS and platform for incoming case load.
• Continuously track pending, ongoing, and completed cases.

2. Case Assignment Management

• Assign cases to respective radiologists based on expertise and modality.
• Ensure cases are assigned within 5 minutes of history upload on the platform.
• Distribute cases equally among radiologists to ensure optimal utilisation and avoid escalations.

3. Client Coordination & Communication

• Ensure accurate and professional coordination with clients.
• Be available for clients via WhatsApp and calls during shift hours.
• Provide timely updates on case status and expected delivery timelines.

4. TAT Management

• Ensure cases are released within modality-specific TAT.
• Coordinate with radiologists to prevent TAT breaches.
• Escalate potential delays proactively to management, if required.

5. Radiologist Support & Clinical Coordination

• Be available for radiologists in case of clinical queries.
• Arrange additional history or patient details from clients/technicians as required.

6. Escalation Management

• Handle client and radiologist escalations promptly and professionally.
• Highlight critical issues to management when intervention is required.

7. Team Coordination & Shift Handover

• Ensure smooth coordination within the operations team.
• Maintain proper shift handover documentation and communication.

8. Technician & Stakeholder Relationship Management

• Build strong working relationships with technicians for smooth case transitions.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with radiologists and clients.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of patient data.
• Maintain daily operational reports and performance metrics.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client SLAs.
