Job summary

Schneider Electric in India seeks a Solution Architect - Cooling to lead technical solution development for cooling opportunities within data centers. You will act as the primary technical advisor to customers, consultants and partners, translating business needs into differentiated cooling architectures aligned with Schneider Electric standards.

You will drive end-to-end cooling solutions, build value-based business cases (TCO, energy efficiency, reliability, sustainability) and collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Thermal Engineering or related discipline.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 15-25 years of experience within Cooling, HVAC, Data Center Infrastructure, Thermal Management or Critical Power & Cooling industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of Precision Cooling, Chilled Water Systems, Direct Expansion Systems, Liquid Cooling Technologies, Thermal Management Solutions, Data Center Infrastructure, Cooling Controls and Monitoring Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solution development for Cooling opportunities across Data Centers segment.
• Act as the primary technical advisor for customers, consultants, EPCs, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Develop end-to-end Cooling architectures aligned with customer requirements, operational objectives and Schneider Electric standards.
• Translate customer business challenges into differentiated Cooling solutions focused on reliability, efficiency, resiliency and sustainability.
• Drive adoption of the ONE-BUSINESS approach by integrating lifecycle services and future asset management strategies at the early stage of opportunity development.
• Develop and present value-based business cases including: Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Energy efficiency analysis, Reliability assessments, Sustainability benefits, Lifecycle investment strategies.
• Work closely with Business Development, Sales and Tendering teams to position the most competitive and technically robust solutions.
• Support qualification and prioritization of strategic opportunities.
• Ensure technical consistency between customer requirements, proposed designs, execution capabilities and service strategies.
• Collaborate with ETO Engineering teams to translate conceptual architectures into executable project designs.
• Identify opportunities for retrofit, modernization and optimization of existing Cooling systems.
• Support development and deployment of innovative Cooling technologies including liquid cooling, high-density thermal management and future sustainability-focused solutions.
• Participate in customer workshops, design reviews and executive-level technical presentations.
• Provide market feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams to support future portfolio development.

# Solution Architect - Cooling

Mission: Act as the trusted technical advisor and solution leader for Cooling opportunities, ensuring the development of differentiated, value-based solutions that address customer business objectives while maximizing lifecycle performance, energy efficiency, reliability and sustainability.

Drive the technical-commercial definition of Cooling architectures and lifecycle strategies by integrating equipment, digital, service, retrofit and modernization offerings into a unified customer value proposition.
