Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Controllership Associate in Bengaluru, India to manage Fixed Asset Accounting, balance sheet and P&L analyses for India GU entities in line with USGAAP and Local GAAP. The role covers core accounting, billing, cash, and receivables, with a focus on tax compliance and process improvements.

You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, apply IND AS and USGAAP knowledge, and utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP to deliver accurate financial reporting and asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 4 to 5 years or Postgraduates with 2 to 3 years relevant experience in accounting field.
• Knowledge of IND AS, Accounting and finance best practices. Knowledge of USGAAP would be preferred.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, good communication, analytical and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI knowledge preferred & SAP preferable.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility is Fixed Asset Accounting, Balance Sheet and P&L analysis and review for all India GU entities as per USGAAP/Local GAAP.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure integrity of all accounting principles and procedures; manage core accounting, billing, cash and receivables processes.
• Ensure compliance with local and statutory tax rules.
• Design and implement processes and solutions to record and process all aspects of fixed assets accounting.
• Includes chart of accounts alignment, back office integration, folio management, payment processing, transfer and retirement of assets, physical inventory and CIP project accounting.

• Handling Fixed Asset related transactions for USGAAP & Local GAAP.
• Managing Inter Unit Transfer Process
• Reconciliation of Fixed Assets with physical asset list and obtaining PV confirmations.
• Various reporting requirements including MIS Ageing SOX Controls.
• Interaction & managing stakeholders.
