Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking a Controllership Associate to manage fixed asset accounting, balance sheet and P&L analysis for India entities as per USGAAP and Local GAAP.

You will oversee financial reporting, ensure integrity of accounting principles, and design processes to record fixed assets, CIP, transfers and retirement, coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel, IND AS knowledge and SAP/Power BI are assets.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• US GAAP and Local GAAP knowledge preferred.
• IND AS knowledge and strong Excel skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle Fixed Asset related transactions for USGAAP & Local GAAP.
• Manage Inter Unit Transfer Process.
• Reconcile Fixed Assets with physical asset lists and PV confirmations.
• Prepare MIS reports and support SOX controls.

What would you do?

• Job Summary:
• The position is primarily responsible for Fixed Asset Accounting, Balance Sheet and P&L analysis and review for all India GU entities as per USGAAP Local GAAP.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure integrity of all accounting principles and procedures Manage core accounting billing cash and receivables processes Ensure compliance with local and statutory tax compliance rules
• Design and implement process and solutions to record and process all aspects of fixed assets accounting.
• Includes chart of accounts alignment, back office integration, folio management, payment processing, transfer & retirement of assets, physical inventory and Construction In Process (CIP) project accounting." What are we looking for? "
• Skills Professional qualities required.
• Bachelor degree with 4 to 5 years or Postgraduates with 2to 3 years relevant experience in accounting field.
• Knowledge of IND AS, Accounting and finance best practices. Knowledge of USGAAP would be preferred.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, good communication analytical and presentation skills.
