Job summary

Miraki Tech is seeking a highly skilled Control-M Administrator with 7+ years of experience to join our team in India. The role focuses on administration, scheduling, and production support across Control-M environments, with scripting for automation and exposure to Autosys as a secondary skill.

You will work in a demanding, 24x7 production support setting, troubleshooting issues, optimizing workflows, and coordinating upgrades across Linux and Windows servers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Control-M Administration and job scheduling.
• In-depth knowledge of Control-M architecture, components, and configuration.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (Shell, Batch, Perl, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience in 24x7 production support and on-call rotation with strong troubleshooting skills.

The role requires in-depth expertise in Control-M architecture, components, and scheduling along with strong skills in scripting (Shell, Batch, Perl, or Python) for automation and process optimization. Exposure to Autosys scheduling is required as a secondary skill. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive in troubleshooting, and comfortable working in a 24x7 support environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in Saas migration
• Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning skills.
• Exposure to Autosys scheduling (mandatory secondary skill).
• Experience in 24x7 production support and on-call rotation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and client-handling skills.
• Administer and manage Control-M environments (v19 or higher) to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Perform upgrades and maintenance on Control-M servers and agents across both Linux (RHEL7+) and Windows operating systems.
• Develop automation solutions for Control-M script releases, using Shell, Python, or Perl to streamline tasks and improve efficiencies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Control-M-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet their scheduling needs.
• Plan and execute Control-M version and agent upgrades, ensuring compatibility and minimal downtime during transitions.
• Conduct regular monitoring and maintenance of Control-M instances, proactively identifying and addressing issues.
• Provide Control-M user training, fostering best practices and effective use of the tool across the organization.
• Maintain documentation for all changes, upgrades, and processes to support audits and knowledge-sharing.
• Solve complex problems related to Control-M and operating systems, utilizing strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Preferred experience with cloud-based Control-M environments and DevOps tools such as Ansible or Jenkins; Control-M certification is a plus.

Travel & Deployment

• This role may require short-term or long-term onsite travel based on project requirements.
• Candidates should be flexible to travel domestically or internationally as needed.
• A valid passport is mandatory.
• Prior onsite experience will be an added advantage.
