Job summary

Indiaexcite It Solutions in Chennai is seeking an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to lead design, engineering, documentation, testing, commissioning, and support of automation and control systems for Oil & Gas/industrial automation projects.

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with PLCs, HMI, instrumentation, and control panels; strong vendor coordination and adherence to safety standards are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation and controls design.
• Engineering degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer or related discipline.
• Experience in Oil & Gas or industrial automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineering, documentation, testing, commissioning, and support of automation and control systems.
• Collaborate with vendors for instrument selection and panel fabrication.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous area standards and IEC/UL requirements.
