Job summary

• Typically 10+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role
• Proficiency in Mainframe COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM development
• Strong programming and debugging abilities
• Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong team collaboration and communication
• Willingness to own complex technical challenges
• Advanced degree is a plus
• Relevant certifications or training a plus

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically, 10+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Mainframe (COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM) development methodologies
• Strong programming and debugging skills
• Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good team collaboration and communication abilities
• Willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges

Other Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
