Job summary

Integrated Language Solutions in Delhi is seeking a fluent Somali Interpreter to provide accurate Somali-English (and Hindi) interpretation across medical, legal, government, and community settings.

Responsibilities include consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, real-time conveyance of meaning and tone, and maintaining strict confidentiality. You will work with asylum seekers, refugees, and international visitors, requiring cultural sensitivity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent proficiency in Somali and English (knowledge of Hindi is a plus).
• Prior interpreter experience in medical/legal/community settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with Somali dialects and regional variations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Professional demeanor, punctuality, and discretion.
• Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments.

Requirements
