Job summary

LoansJagat is seeking a Content Team Lead to build and scale its content function, driving brand awareness, organic growth, customer engagement, and measurable business impact. The role focuses on creating a scalable content ecosystem with SEO-optimized content across blogs, websites, landing pages, product pages, social media, and email campaigns.

You will mentor a team of writers/editors and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in content writing, editing, content strategy, or digital content.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, search intent, and content marketing.
• Experience creating content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, Google Analytics/Search Console, SEO tools, and AI-assisted content tools.
• Prior experience in Fintech, BFSI, lending, personal finance, or financial services will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content writers, editors, and freelancers.
• Develop and execute a scalable content strategy aligned with brand, SEO, marketing, and business objectives.
• Plan, assign, review, and optimize content across blogs, websites, landing pages, product pages, social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
• Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, SEO-optimized, and aligned with the LoansJagat brand voice.
• Collaborate closely with SEO, Marketing, Product, Design, and Business teams to deliver impactful content campaigns.
• Own and manage the content calendar, ensuring timely execution of all content initiatives.
• Conduct quality checks for grammar, tone, readability, factual accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Monitor content performance and use analytics and SEO insights to improve traffic, engagement, rankings, and conversions.
• Conduct competitor and industry research to identify new content opportunities and growth areas.
• Stay updated on SEO trends, search behavior, fintech developments, and content best practices.
• Build efficient content workflows to improve team productivity, quality, and turnaround time.
• Drive continuous improvement in content processes, standards, and output quality.
