The role requires 3+ years in SEO, SQL/Python data work, and hands-on experience with AI content systems. It is an on-site, office-based position with opportunities to impact large-scale listings and education-related content.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SEO with templated or programmatic content across 100k+ pages and demonstrable results.
• SQL or Python used on data sets with millions of rows.
• At least one AI content pipeline built and run at volume (1,000+ outputs) and ability to explain quality checks.
• Template-level experience on multi-language sites, including hreflang.
• Clear written English for specs and briefs.
• Works independently, sets priorities, and delivers measured results.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain content templates across 100k+ pages and multiple languages.
• Decide which page combinations should be indexed and manage thin/duplicate content risk.
• Work with large data sets to identify opportunities and prioritize actions.
• Design, run and QA AI content pipelines at volume with defined inputs and prompts.
• Ensure templates hold up in every language (grammar, plurals, hreflang).
• Map and consolidate content from merged sites and decide retention/redirects based on performance.
• Set SEO requirements for institution and program pages used by content engine and Publishing team. Some hands-on work may be needed.
• Write specs for Engineering and briefs for the editorial team.
• Track visibility in search engines and AI answers and feed learnings back into templates.

We are looking for a skilled and analytical Content SEO Specialist to join our team. What You'll Do:

• Design and maintain content templates that run across 100k+ pages and several languages: slot logic, conditional rules, fallbacks and lookup tables.
• Decide which page combinations should exist and be indexed, using inventory and search demand data, and manage thin and duplicate content risk.
• Work with large data sets (Search Console exports in BigQuery, keyword and SERP data, program inventory, crawl data) to find, size and prioritize opportunities.
• Design, run and quality-check AI content pipelines at volume: inputs, prompts, evaluation criteria and sample-based QA.
• Make sure templates hold up in every language: word order, grammar, plurals and hreflang.
• Map and consolidate content from sites merged into educations.com: decide what is kept, merged, rewritten or redirected, based on page-level performance.
• Set the SEO requirements, input data and acceptance criteria for institution and program pages, which our content engine and Publishing team produce. Some short-term hands-on work may be needed.
• Write specs Engineering can build from and briefs the editorial team can write from.
• Track visibility in search engines and AI answers, and feed what you learn back into templates and content.

Experience & qualifications

Must have

• 3+ years in SEO, including hands-on ownership of templated or programmatic content across 100k+ pages, with results you can show.
• SQL or Python, used on data sets of millions of rows. Spreadsheets alone don’t cover this scale.
• At least one AI content pipeline you built and ran at volume (1,000+ outputs). You can walk us through how you checked quality, the error rate, and what you changed along the way.
• Template-level experience on multi-language sites, including hreflang.
• Clear written English: specs and briefs others can act on without follow-up questions.
• Works independently, sets priorities, and follows work through to measured results.

Desired

• Headless CMS experience, Sanity in particular: content models, structured fields, GROQ, bulk updates through the API.
• Content consolidation or site migration experience.
• Education, marketplace or other large listings sites.
• Builds your own tools and scripts with AI coding agents.
