Job summary

YourHappyLife in Mumbai is seeking a creator who lives for reels and shortform videos. You will be the on-camera talent, scripting, shooting, and editing to feed our brand and ads. This role demands fast, high-volume output with sharp storytelling.

Work closely with the performance marketing team to produce converting content. A portfolio is mandatory, and you should excel at hooks, trends, and clear metrics from Instagram and YouTube.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years in content creation, social media or performance creative.

• Lives on Instagram and YouTube shortform; follows trends and storytelling.
• Hands-on with shortform editing (CapCut, VN, Premiere or similar) and quick design (Canva).
• Reads video and ad metrics and explains why content worked or flopped.

Most brands make content. The best brands turn content into performance. At YHL, content is our fastest growth lever, and we want one person who is magnetic on camera and understands that a reel only matters if it stops the scroll and moves the number. You will not just shoot pretty videos. You will build the creative engine that feeds our brand and our ads, learn what actually converts, and make more of it, fast.

We sell across our website, Amazon, Nykaa and quick commerce. Content is our biggest bet for the next phase of growth, and you will be at the centre of it.

What you'll own

• Be the on-camera talent for YHL. Live and breathe reels and shortform, and shoot consistently, not occasionally.
• Know the product, brand and positioning cold, so every video is accurate and on-message, not just on-trend.
• Run ideas end to end with the content and editing team: ideate, script, shoot, edit and ship. You brainstorm and you execute.
• Partner tightly with performance marketing to produce converting ad creative on a steady cadence, a real volume of winners, not one hero video a month.
• Read the data that matters: hook rate, hold and retention, thumb-stop, CTR, CVR and ROAS on creative. Turn those metrics into clear insight.
• Find the patterns. Spot which hooks, angles, formats and messages win, then build more of what works and kill what does not.
• Build content at scale. Turn your instincts into a repeatable system that produces volume without losing quality.

Where this role goes

This is built as a launchpad. As YHL's content engine scales, the person who builds it scales with it. The path runs from being the face of the brand to leading our creative, a Creator-Strategist Lead owning a team of creators and editors and the whole content-to-performance system. We move fast for people who deliver.

What we're looking for

• 2 to 4 years in content creation, social media or performance creative.
• Genuinely sharp on camera, with a reel of proof. A portfolio or links to your work is mandatory.
• Lives on Instagram and YouTube shortform. Obsessed with trends, hooks and storytelling.
• Can go from idea to published fast, without losing accuracy or quality.
• Hands-on with shortform editing (CapCut, VN, Premiere or similar) and quick design (Canva).
• Reads video and ad metrics comfortably and can explain why a piece of content worked or flopped.
• Experience in wellness, beauty or lifestyle is a strong plus.
• High ownership, real speed, and a self-starter who does not need to be managed shot by shot.
