Job summary

ixigo.com is seeking a Manager- Content Development to lead a team of 10–15 editors and analysts from the Gurgaon office. You will oversee timelines, delivery and quality for travel content, and drive process improvements.

Reporting to the CEO, you will mentor staff, collaborate with SEO and engineering teams, and shape content strategy aligned with company goals. Strong writing and content management experience is essential.

• Full Time Post Graduate/Graduate in English, Arts & Humanities, Journalism, PR/Advertising, Other from a premier university

Responsibilities

• Manage timelines, delivery and quality for content produced by a team of about 10-15 rockstar Content Analysts/Editors.
• Define and optimize the process flow for content production from time to time.
• Manage and report all the metrics with respect to the content creation process and share it with the key stakeholders.
• Identify the key dependencies and manage the Content Management System (CMS) and work closely with the engineering team to optimize it from time to time.
• Ensure all the reported issues are closed to closure within the agreed timelines.
• Work closely with the SEO team to identify and work towards areas of common interest and improve the content from time to time.
• Take final responsibility of the content being produced and it conforms to the Quality Management System (QMS).

Role:

We have an exciting opening for Manager- Content Development in ixigo. You will be responsible to manage the timelines, delivery and quality for the content produced by the team of about 10-15 rockstar Content Analysts/Editors. Manager- Content Development will be directly responsible to manage the deliverables produced by the team and ensure all the defined targets are met.

Main set of responsibilities of the Manager- Content Development are as follows:

Content Management

• a) All the defined targets with respect to the timelines and quality are met.

Qualification/Experience Summary

• 5 years of experience in Content Development, team management
