Moving Tech is seeking a Content Editor & Cameraman Intern for Kerala operations in Kochi. You will shoot ground footage and craft video content to help riders and drivers understand the app, services, benefits, updates and campaigns.

The role combines hands-on camera work with editing, requiring a sharp eye for Kerala culture, Malayalam communication, and current digital trends, with collaboration across brand and marketing teams.

About the Role

We're looking for a versatile Content Editor & Cameraman Intern to shoot and craft video content for Namma Yatri's Kerala operations – capturing footage on the ground and cutting it into content that helps riders and drivers understand the app, its services, benefits, updates and campaigns.

This is a hands-on, in-house creative role for someone who's as comfortable behind the camera as behind the editing timeline, with a sharp eye, steady hands, and a genuine feel for Kerala's culture, Malayalam communication, and current digital trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot footage for reels, promos, explainers, interviews, vox pops and event coverage – camera operation, framing, lighting and on-site audio.
• Edit reels, promos, explainers, interviews and event coverage into polished, platform-ready content, with subtitles, music, sound effects and titles.
• Perform colour correction, colour grading and basic audio cleanup; produce simple motion graphics and transitions where needed.
• Accurately place and proofread Malayalam and English text in subtitles and on-screen graphics; adapt every video into platform-specific sizes and formats.
• Translate Kerala's trends and local humour into relevant shoot and edit ideas, using AI powered tools to speed up the workflow.
• Collaborate with content creators, presenters, product, operations and marketing teams while managing multiple shoots and edits against deadlines.
• Occasionally appear on camera for behind-the-scenes and creative content when required.

Skills We're Looking For

Hands-on camera operation – framing, lighting and on-site audio capture – paired with strong editing chops in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve. A sharp sense of pacing, composition and visual storytelling is essential, along with real fluency in Kerala's culture, Malayalam pop culture, local humour and current digital trends. Familiarity with AI assisted tools and modern creative workflows is preferred.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Visual Media, Film, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field.
• Prior internship or relevant hands‑on project experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Malayalam and English, with strong knowledge of Kerala's culture and current trends.
• Comfortable operating a camera on shoots, and appearing in front of one when required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shoots and edits at once.
• Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio or reel of relevant camera and editing work is mandatory.
