Moving Tech, the company behind Kerala Savaari, is seeking a Content Writer Intern for its Kerala operations in Kochi. You will craft Malayalam and English copy for social creatives, banners, campaigns and videos, and help explain app features, updates, and campaigns.

The role demands sharp writing, on-camera confidence, and a deep understanding of Kerala's culture and current digital trends. This hands-on internship offers real-world experience in a fast-growing mobility tech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Visual Media, Visual Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field.
• Prior internship or relevant hands-on project experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Malayalam and English, with strong knowledge of Kerala culture and trends.
• Ability to convert communication requirements into clear, engaging ideas, and manage multiple projects independently.
• Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Write copy in Malayalam and English for social creatives, app banners, pop-ups, digital ads and campaigns - explaining features, benefits, safety information and service updates.
• Develop campaign ideas, headlines, taglines, captions and creative concepts.
• Write scripts for reels, promos, explainers, interviews and community stories; present and appear on camera for app explainers, campaign content, interviews and event coverage.
• Conduct vox pops and conversations with riders, drivers and community members; support video shoots through content planning, scripting and presentation.
• Write content for event branding, print materials, posters, standees and other offline communication.
• Adapt content into platform-specific formats while maintaining a consistent brand voice; write and proofread Malayalam and English copy for clarity, grammar and accuracy.
• Translate Kerala's trends, cultural moments, local humour and regional insights into relevant content ideas, using AI-powered tools to sharpen creative output.
• Collaborate with designers, product, operations and marketing teams while managing multiple content requirements and deadlines

About the Role

We're looking for a versatile Content Writer Intern to be the voice - and face - of Namma Yatri's Kerala operations, helping riders and drivers understand the app, its services, benefits, updates and campaigns.

This is a hands-on, in-house creative role for someone who brings sharp writing, on-camera confidence, and a genuine feel for Kerala's culture, Malayalam communication, and current digital trends.

Skills We're Looking For

Clear communication in Malayalam and English, with a strong understanding of audience needs and the ability to adapt messaging across platforms. A strong sense of storytelling, attention to detail, and confidence engaging with people are essential, along with real fluency in Kerala's culture, Malayalam pop culture, local humour and current digital trends. Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and modern creative workflows is preferred.
