Job summary

Packt is seeking a Distribution Executive Level 1 to manage publishing and distribution of Packt products across website and partner channels. The role is technical and reports to the Publishing and Video Distribution Manager.

You will publish products, distribute across channel partners, and maintain data accuracy while upholding quality standards. Strong collaboration and proactive problem-solving are essential in this fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Must-have: proficiency with SCORM & LMS platforms, API integrations, QA and compliance, strong stakeholder management and project management.
• Ability to manage metadata and troubleshoot issues across distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Publish products on Packt website per planned timelines.

The Licensing team is responsible for building and maintaining a strong network of partners and ensuring a consistent pipeline of commercially viable learning products that extend and strengthen Packt’s catalogue. The Acquisition Editor role supports this by identifying, evaluating, and contracting content that aligns with Packt’s publishing strategy and delivers long term value across our distribution channels.

Role Overview

Distribution Executive - Level 1 is responsible for announcement, publishing, distributing Packt products across Packt website and various channel partners. This is a technical role that reports to the line manager in the content distribution team and below are the responsibilities:

What You Will Do

• Publishing various products on our website as per the planned timelines.
• Distribute Packt products, including books, videos, and courses, to various channel partners as per the SLA.
• Foster strong relationships with team members through effective collaboration.
• Train team members on new and existing clients, processes, and best practices.
• Update and maintain guidelines for all distribution channels and workflows.
• Ensure 100% quality in all assigned tasks through rigorous checks and adherence to standards.
• Monitor product availability on distributed platforms and ensure systems are updated with accurate data.
• Adapt proactively to system changes and new processes.
• Handling multiple requests from various channels.
• Proactively research and explore topics as needed to enhance knowledge and problem-solving.

Salary Range - INR 24K- 34K fixed pay per month (skills and/or experience dependent)
