Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional, part of RELX, is seeking a content-focused lawyer with 3-4 years' experience to develop and maintain high-quality legal content across jurisdictions. You will monitor regulatory developments, apply subject matter expertise, and enhance content portfolios worldwide.

The role involves drafting, editing, and publishing processes, with hybrid work requiring one in-office day a week (Thursday). Strong collaboration and project management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Law degree with 3-4 years' experience in content development, publishing, and/or legal or regulatory compliance.
• Drafting and editing experience with a solid understanding of the publishing process.
• Strong communication and collaborative working skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify developments, reforms, procedures, case law, and trends within relevant practice areas.
• Understand portfolio, target market, authors, positioning, and development needs.
• Apply subject matter knowledge to deliver currency, relevance, and accessibility across products.
• Identify and implement plans to refresh or discontinue underperforming modules.
• Develop and communicate value propositions for all portfolio modules.
• Support new content development proposals and implementation of new content in adjacent areas.

About The Role

This role focuses on developing and maintaining high-quality legal content that is current, accurate, and valuable to customers. You will monitor legal and regulatory developments, apply subject matter expertise and customer insights, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of content portfolios across practice areas and jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Identify developments, legislative reforms, procedures, case law, and trends within the relevant practice areas.
• Develop a strong understanding of the portfolio, including target market, authors, positioning, structure, and development needs.
• Apply subject matter knowledge and customer insights to deliver content that ensures currency, relevance, and accessibility across products.
• Identify and implement plans to harvest, refresh, or discontinue underperforming modules.
• Develop and communicate the value proposition of all modules within the portfolio.
• Support new content development proposals and the implementation of new content and titles within adjacent practice areas and/or jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Law degree with 3-4 years' experience in content development, publishing, and/or legal or regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience in content development, publishing, and/or legal or regulatory compliance.
• Under the hybrid work mode, you are required to work from the office once a week, every Thursday.
• Demonstrated drafting and editing experience with a good working knowledge of the publishing process.
• Strong communication and collaborative working skills.
• Well-developed problem-solving and project management skills.
