Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional seeks a Client Development Partner who has practiced at a law firm and understands modern legal practice pressures. You will apply your experience to a strategic, outward-facing role that accelerates adoption of AI and LexisNexis workflow solutions across existing customers.

You will lead pre- and post-sale activities, engage senior partners and C-suite, and collaborate with marketing and strategy to drive firm-wide innovation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience practicing law at a leading firm (corporate law or litigation)
• AI fluency/mastery and ability to translate workflows into client value
• Deep knowledge of legal workflows and trends to tailor LexisNexis solutions to clients

Responsibilities

• Research prospects and craft pursuit strategies with senior relationships
• Engage partners, chairs and C-suite to position LexisNexis as a trusted innovation partner
• Demonstrate workflow insights with tangible examples of LexisNexis impact on client outcomes
• Drive deal progression by aligning stakeholders and securing outcomes
• Collaborate on firm-specific materials and thought leadership for partners
• Understand and articulate the LexisNexis product roadmap to clients

About The Role

The Client Development Partner builds deep relationships with law firm leaders and helps them envision how LexisNexis AI and workflow solutions can advance their most important goals.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who has practiced at a Law firm and understands the pressures of modern legal practice, but is ready to apply that experience in a strategic, outward-facing role that accelerates adoption of cutting-edge AI and workflow solutions across existing LexisNexis customers.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with Relationship Managers/Directors to research prospects and execute pursuit strategies that build senior-level relationships and create new business opportunities (pre-sale activities)
• Engaging managing partners, practice chairs, and firm C-suite to understand their priorities and position LexisNexis as a trusted partner in innovation (pre and post-sale activities)
• Leveraging legal expertise to analyze attorney workflows across practice areas, uncovering where AI and workflow solutions can enhance client outcomes, talent productivity, and firm ROI.
• Leading high-impact demonstrations and presentations that translate workflow insights into tangible examples of how LexisNexis solutions drive firm performance and innovation. (pre and post sales activities)
• Collaborating with marketing and strategy teams to develop firm-specific materials, thought leadership, and programs that resonate with partners and C-suite audiences.
• Driving deal progression by aligning stakeholders, addressing objections, and partnering with account executives to secure successful outcomes.
• PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
• Have a good understanding of LexisNexis core product suite, namely Protégé product offerings and future product roadmap
• Knowledge of Law Firm research and AI tools (incl. DMS)

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience practicing law at a leading firm (preferably in corporate law or litigation).
• AI Fluency/Mastery.
• Deep knowledge of legal workflows, use cases, and emerging trends to tailor LexisNexis solutions to client needs
• Experience in Establishing credibility with partners and firm C-suite through strong executive presence, legal expertise, and AI fluency
• Academic Qualification- Law Graduate
