Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Gurgaon is seeking a content-focused professional to develop and maintain current, accurate legal content for a global customer base. You will monitor regulatory developments and apply expertise to enhance portfolios across practice areas and jurisdictions.

Role emphasizes drafting/editing, collaboration, and project management, with a hybrid work model requiring office presence once a week on Thursdays.

Qualifications

• Law degree with 3-4 years' experience in content development, publishing, and/or legal or regulatory compliance.
• Experience in content development, publishing, and/or legal or regulatory compliance.
• Hybrid work: office once a week, every Thursday.
• Drafting and editing experience with a good working knowledge of the publishing process.
• Strong communication and collaborative working skills.
• Well-developed problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify developments, legislative reforms, procedures, case law, and trends within the relevant practice areas.
• Develop a strong understanding of the portfolio, including target market, authors, positioning, structure, and development needs.
• Apply subject matter knowledge and customer insights to deliver content that ensures currency, relevance, and accessibility across products.
• Identify and implement plans to harvest, refresh, or discontinue underperforming modules.
• Develop and communicate the value proposition of all modules within the portfolio.
• Support new content development proposals and the implementation of new content and titles within adjacent practice areas and/or jurisdictions.

About the Role
