Job summary

Snapgo is seeking a creative Content Creator & Social Media Manager in Uttar Pradesh to lead our social channels. You will shoot daily short-form videos, craft captions, and develop hooks and storylines for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, while staying on brand.

You should be comfortable on camera, understand trends, and collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns. Hindi/Hinglish is preferred, English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and post daily short-form video content such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Shoot your own videos daily for Snapgo's social media channels.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera and communicating naturally.
• Develop creative concepts, hooks and storylines for videos.
• Use storytelling techniques to make content engaging and relatable.
• Find and curate relevant content/trends from travel, mobility, startups, students, commuting and Snapgo's industry.
• Repurpose relevant trending content while keeping it aligned with Snapgo's brand.
• Manage daily posting across social media platforms.
• Monitor trending Reels, sounds, formats, hashtags and content ideas.
• Plan and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.
• Write captions, hooks and basic copy for social media posts.
• Track content performance such as views, reach, engagement and followers.
• Experiment with different content formats to improve organic growth.
• Coordinate with the marketing team for campaigns, offers and promotional content.
• Stay updated with current social media trends and viral formats.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, confident and energetic Content Creator & Social Media Manager who can manage our social media presence and create engaging content for Snapgo.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Reels and other social media platforms, along with the ability to independently create videos, understand trends and tell stories through content.

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels & social media content creation.
• Good storytelling and communication skills.
• Comfortable shooting videos and appearing on camera.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate new content ideas every day.
• Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro or similar.
• Understanding of Instagram algorithms, trends, hashtags and engagement.
• Good knowledge of social media management and content scheduling.
• Ability to work independently and consistently produce content.
• Good Hindi/Hinglish communication skills; English is a plus.
• Prior experience in content creation, social media management, influencer marketing or digital marketing will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates who already have a personal Instagram/YouTube/social media profile with their own content will be highly preferred.
• Candidates with previous experience creating Reels/Shorts will have an advantage.
• Female candidates are highly preferred for this role.
