About the Role

The Private Bank Operations Officer supports Private Bank clients and frontline bankers to deliver seamless end-to-end servicing and exceptional customer outcomes. The role is responsible for ensuring requests are managed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed service standards, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and risk compliance. Success in this role requires a customer-first mindset, professional communication, and a commitment to delivering a premium service experience through timely and accurate case management.

What will your day look like?

As an Officer – Private Bank, Maintenance, you will be accountable for:

  • Customer servicing: Deliver exceptional service by supporting Private Bank clients and bankers with a range of servicing requests, ensuring every interaction is professional, responsive, and customer-focused.
  • Service delivery: Own requests from start to finish, managing your workload effectively to ensure requests are completed accurately, on time, and with a high level of care.
  • Quality and accuracy: Complete work accurately, by reviewing information carefully, preparing documentation, updating customer records, and ensuring work is completed right the first time.
  • Process adherence: Apply documented procedures, policies and system steps consistently when completing servicing activities to manage potential risk.
  • Stakeholder communication: Build relationships and communicate clearly with clients, bankers, team members and leaders to deliver seamless customer outcomes.
  • Team contribution: Work closely with team members, share insights and best practices, and actively contribute to a culture focused on service excellence, continuous improvement, and customer outcomes.
What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • At least 5-6 years of demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service in a banking, financial services, wealth management, or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on quality when reviewing information, preparing documentation, and processing customer requests.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, explain complex information clearly, and build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet service expectations, and maintain a high standard of accuracy across multiple requests.
  • Previous experience in banking operations, customer servicing, account maintenance, onboarding, lending administration, KYC, or complex servicing environments.
  • A customer‑centric mindset, strong sense of ownership, and commitment to delivering timely, accurate, and seamless outcomes for Private Bank clients and bankers.
