Job summary

Societe Generale SA’s SG Global Solution Centre in Bangalore seeks a Lead – Data & Analytics Engineering. The role provides technical leadership across data ingestion, Power BI, Ataccama ONE, Databricks and cloud-based data platforms. You will mentor engineers and drive enterprise data initiatives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and architects to ensure scalable, governed data solutions, modern reporting, and robust data governance. Hybrid work in Bangalore is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics or Data Governance.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale data transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead data ingestion, ETL/ELT and integration solutions using Airflow, NiFi, Python and Databricks.
• Drive Power BI reporting, dashboarding and reporting modernization initiatives.
• Lead Ataccama ONE implementations covering Data Quality, Governance, Metadata Management and MDM.
• Define data architecture standards and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, architects and engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Support release management, production support, upgrades and platform optimization.
