Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Lead – Data & Analytics Engineering to drive enterprise data initiatives, including data ingestion, analytics, governance and quality across cloud platforms.

You will provide technical leadership across Databricks, Ataccama ONE and Power BI, mentor engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and help modernize reporting and data architecture in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics or Data Governance.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale data transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead data ingestion, ETL/ELT and integration solutions using Airflow, NiFi, Python and Databricks.
• Drive Power BI reporting, dashboarding and reporting modernization initiatives.
• Lead Ataccama ONE implementations covering Data Quality, Governance, Metadata Management and MDM.
• Define data architecture standards and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, architects and engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Support release management, production support, upgrades and platform optimization.

Analytics: Power BI, DAX, Data Modeling, Dashboard Development.

Governance: Ataccama ONE, Data Quality, Metadata Management, MDM, Data Governance.

Cloud & DevOps: Azure/AWS/GCP, Git, CI/CD, Agile.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ataccama certification preferred.
• Cognos migration experience.
• Power Automate knowledge.
• Banking/Financial Services domain experience.
• Enterprise Data Governance exposure.
