Job summary

Societe Generale Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SSE-Premium Data Engineer with strong MSBI, Power BI services and Azure/Databricks experience. You will design and implement SSRS/SSAS/SSIS based data solutions, drive data quality, and participate in agile projects across global teams.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, code quality, environment synchronization, and technical infrastructure support. 6–10 years of experience in data engineering and banking domain knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SSRS, SSAS/Tabular, SSIS and Power BI services.
• Hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks and data engineering.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with Control-M scheduling and GitHub versioning.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, implement, document and maintain SSRS/SSAS/SSIS and Power BI solutions.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and identify root causes across data pipelines.

ResponsibilitiesSSE-Premium- Data Engineering, MSBI, PBI servicesJob description:

• Developer for the technical design, programming, implementation, documentation, and maintenance withSSRS, SSAS (with SSAS Tabular KNowledge), SSIS, power BI services, data engineering, Azure/Databricks experience is must.
• Participate in implementation, including maintenance, user allocation, file design, coding, error removal, logic optimization, systems re-evaluation, testing, final corrections, and program and run time documentation.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues. Trace data/logic and report back on root cause.
• Synchronize development/production environments.
• Guarantee best practice and quality of the code of the whole team.
• Organize and optimize/industrialize the process of development.
• Propose technical solutions.
• Participate to the construction of the technical infrastructure when needed.
• Ensures a technological watch and demonstrates an interest for the Compliance business
• Should have basic understanding of Agile Methodology

Profile required

Strong Skills : Should be strong in Visualization tools Azure/Databricks,Data engineering, POWER-BI services and MS-BI

Should have strong coding skills inSSRS, SSAS, Databricks (with SSAS Tabular KNowledge), Should be strong in Database (MS SQL Server) Control-M scheduling tool, GitHub Versioning tool, nd basic DBA concepts. Banking Domain knowledge, AGILE

Minimal Required experience: 6 to 10 years
