Job summary

Child Rights and You (CRY) is seeking a Consultant: Teacher in Manesar, Haryana to deliver education activities aligned with the syllabus. The role involves running daily activity centers, preparing student portfolios, and producing monthly and quarterly impact reports.

You will work with teachers, parents and staff to assess needs and implement targeted learning plans. The consultant will design individualized or small-group instruction, monitor progress, and provide feedback to improve

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of teaching or remedial education experience in NGO or school settings.
• Experience identifying and mainstreaming out-of-school or dropout children.
• Experience conducting parent meetings, home visits, and community awareness activities.
• Experience maintaining child records, assessments and project documentation.
• Experience coordinating with schools, teachers, government departments and community stakeholders.
• Exposure to child rights, child protection and education-related programmes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Consultancy deliverables :

• On Daily basis coming Activity center and conducting educational classes as per syllabus
• Prepare portfolio or profile of each child
• Preparing Monthly report
• Plan Assessment, prepare Impact report in every three months
• Collaborate with school teachers, parents, and staff to identify the learning needs and goals of each student
• Design and implement individualized or small-group instruction plans that align with the curriculum
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
• Advocate for the students' well-being and academic success and foster a positive and respectful learning
• environment
• Participate in professional development activities and meetings with other consultant teachers
• Provide academic guidance and support to students
• Mobilize students for regular session, events etc.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the teaching and learning activities on the students outcomes and well-being
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff and volunteers to plan and implement cross-curricular activities,
• projects and events
• Design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for students aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives

Desirable Qualification & Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in teaching, remedial education, or working with children in community-based education programmes, NGOs, or schools.
