What you’ll do:
Roundglass Sports is seeking a passionate and self‑motivated teacher to cultivate students’ interest in education and long‑term development. You will be responsible for planning and implementing educational sessions and activities, grading assignments, and evaluating student progress. - Plan, prepare lesson plans and deliver lessons to students for the assigned class/subject(s) while ensuring high standards of professional practice
- Teach according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the individual students and groups of students
- Adopt and work towards the implementation of the school development plan of the learning center
- Assign work assignment and plan/contribute to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual students and/or groups of students
- Assess, record and report the development and progress of assigned student group(s)
- Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on future career development, providing information on sources of further expert advice
- Communicate, consult and collaborate with school and cross‑functional staff to progress students’ wellbeing; contribute to the professional development of new teachers and students and deliver proxy lessons as and when assigned
- Review and evaluate one’s own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies and programs in line with the National Curriculum Framework guidelines; participate in service education and training courses as well as in continuing professional development opportunities
- Maintain good order and discipline amongst students and always safeguard their health and safety; register and monitor the attendance of students
- Provide necessary information regarding requirements for assigned educational plans/activities; ensure the safe custody and optimum use of office equipment and supplies required for educational work
- Collaborate with departmental and cross‑functional team members to develop and implement the Individual Educational Programme (IEP) of students needing personalized educational needs, such as injured players or players off for matches
- Collaborate with specialist teachers, psychologists and other professionals working with statement students to progress their development
- Utilize contemporary educational techniques and technological devices/aides (such as laptop, projector) during the delivery of the lessons
- Engage in blended, experiential, collaborative, technology‑aided lessons; create resources (audio‑video lessons) for future use
- Contribute to planning and coordination of academic sessions, schedules and related educational activity calendar
Requirements
- Relevant educational experience and skill in CBSE affiliated School / International
- School in the domain of Social Studies / English
- Experience as an educator for secondary / senior secondary grade students
- Good time management, prioritization and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication, including speaking, writing and active listening
- Able to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism from a variety of channels
- Available to work during evenings on occasions
- Proficient with use of technology and contemporary educational practices
