Job summary

Child Rights and You (CRY) invites a Consultant: Community Mobiliser for Manesar, Haryana. The role focuses on mobilizing communities, identifying vulnerable families, and promoting access to education and government services.

The incumbent will conduct home visits, collect data, and coordinate with schools, ICDS, and local authorities to safeguard children’s rights in the district.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in community mobilization, social work, child rights, education, or community development programmes with NGOs or development organizations.
• Experience in identifying and mainstreaming out-of-school children and supporting school enrolment.
• Experience conducting home visits, community meetings, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder consultations.
• Experience facilitating access to government schemes and services for vulnerable families.
• Experience working with children's groups, adolescent groups, CBOs, ICDS centres, schools, and local government institutions.
• Experience in community data collection, MIS management, documentation, and project reporting.
• Exposure to child protection, child rights, and safeguarding practices will be an added advantage
• Basic computer skills (MS Office/Google Sheets) and familiarity with MIS/data entry platforms (e.g., Pragati).
