About this role

We are looking for a Consultant with around 3-4 years of hands-on experience in QA, equally strong in manual testing and automation. The person should be able to pick up a complex product quickly understand the application and how different services work together - with limited hand-holding. Day to day, this role involves functional testing of web applications, mobile apps (Android and iOS), and APIs. You will review requirements, design test cases (including edge cases), execute them, and build or maintain automation for the same flows. Both manual and automation work are part of this role - not one as primary and the other as optional. We expect solid triage skills - not just logging a defect, but helping the team understand where the problem is likely coming from (UI, API, backend service, data, etc.). We work on a large-scale consumer application with web, Android, iOS, and multiple backend services. We follow Agile, and requirements can change often, so testing has to be practical and smart - focus on risk, impact, and what matters for the release. The consultant may be assigned to manual or automation tasks depending on project need, so both skill sets should be at a similar level.

Key Responsibilities

Validate data using SQL across multiple databases and backend services
Understand how services communicate with each other- .
