Job summary

Atos is seeking an experienced Mainframe Tester in India with 7-10 years of core mainframe skills including COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL and VSAM. You will work on migration projects to Raincode/Micro Focus and perform impact analysis and unit testing.

The role requires hands-on batch and online experience, familiarity with SDLC and agile practices, and strong communication. Locations include Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, with immediate notice period.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in Core Mainframe Skills including COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL and VSAM.
• Experience with batch and online processing is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform SIT/UAT defect analysis and fixes.
• Engage in mainframe re-hosting/migration projects to Raincode/Microfocus.
• Contribute to SDLC activities and agile practices.

• Key Skills & Experience
  

7-10 years of experience in Core Mainframe Skills – COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM,IMS DB/DC,CICS.

• Mainframe experience with hands-on knowledge in Batch as well as online is Must.
• Nice to have IMS DB/DC, Easytrieve, Assembler and Datacom.
• REXX and CLIST knowledge will be added advantage.
• Should have experience working in mainframe re-hosting/migration projects to Raincode/Microfocus platform.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience in Raincode platform to make code changes,compile,debug and unit-test batch and online.
• Should be able to perform impact analysis and understand technical design.
• Should have experience on working on Enhancement projects and fair knowledge of SDLC process.
• Perform SIT/UAT defect analysis and fix the same.
• Should be aware of Agile methodologies.
• Telecom domain knowledge is added advantage.
• Good communication skills.
• Should have ability to work independently
