National Institute for Smart Government seeks an experienced legal professional to support procurement, compliance, and contract governance across governmental programs.

The role involves drafting and vetting contracts, reviewing MoUs and RFPs, and advising on statutory requirements, risk management, and litigation support within a complex regulatory environment.

Competenze

• 4+ years post-qualification experience.
• Knowledge of contract law, commercial law, administrative law, labor law and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in contract drafting, legal vetting, legal research, contract administration, litigation support, statutory compliance, and legal documentation.
• Working knowledge of Government procurement regulations, including GFR, GeM, CVC Guidelines, RTI Act and other applicable government rules and legal frameworks.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts, MoUs, agreements, RFPs, tender documents, work orders, legal notices, policy notes, SOPs, affidavits, infrastructure proposals, legal opinions, RTI replies, audit responses, and litigation documents.
• Familiarity with court procedures, arbitration proceedings, statutory approvals, compliance monitoring, and litigation management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research platforms or equivalent legal databases.
