Medico Hub in Kolhapur, Maharashtra is seeking an experienced Consultant Intensivist to lead care in the ICU. The role focuses on managing critically ill patients, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with the medical team to ensure high standards of patient safety.

You will oversee ventilatory and hemodynamic support, conduct rounds, and communicate with families about prognosis and plan. The position is full-time and based on-site, with negotiable compensation based on qualifications

Qualifications

• MD / DNB in General Medicine, Anaesthesiology or an appropriate specialty.
• Fellowship / qualification in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM / IFCCM / DrNB Critical Care) preferred
• Valid Medical Council Registration

Responsabilités

• Manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
• Assess patient conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Monitor patients requiring ventilatory and haemodynamic support.
• Manage medical emergencies, sepsis, shock and multi-organ dysfunction.
• Perform critical care procedures as per qualification and expertise.
• Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff and other departments.
• Supervise ICU protocols, infection control and patient safety practices.
• Conduct clinical rounds and ensure proper documentation.
• Communicate with patients' families regarding clinical progress and treatment plans.
