Medico Hub in Beed, Maharashtra is seeking a Consultant Intensivist – ICU to independently manage critically ill patients in the ICU and lead daily rounds with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MD/DNB Anaesthesiology or MD/DNB General Medicine with critical care exposure required
• MMC registration in Maharashtra mandatory
• Experience in ICUs preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently manage critically ill patients in the ICU
• Assess, stabilize, and treat medical/surgical emergencies
• Manage ventilated patients, sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, multi-organ dysfunction
• Perform ICU procedures (intubation, central/arterial lines) as per expertise
• Monitor hemodynamics and adjust treatment plans
• Conduct daily ICU rounds and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Guide ICU nursing staff on patient management and protocols
• Maintain ICU records and discharge summaries
• Ensure infection control and critical care protocols compliance

QUALIFICATION

• MD/DNB Anaesthesiology
• MD/DNB General Medicine
• IDCCM / Fellowship in Critical Care – Preferred

REGISTRATION

• Valid MMC / Maharashtra Medical Council Registration

Experience

• Experienced candidates preferred
• Hands-on ICU and Critical Care experience will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage critically ill patients in the ICU
• Assess, stabilize, and treat medical and surgical emergencies
• Manage ventilated patients, sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, and multi-organ dysfunction
• Perform ICU procedures including intubation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, and emergency airway management as per expertise
• Monitor hemodynamic status and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Conduct daily ICU rounds and coordinate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
• Guide ICU nursing staff regarding patient management and protocols
• Maintain accurate ICU records, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and critical care protocols
