Job summary

Nextenti Tech in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, India seeks an experienced Consultant Intensivist to manage critically ill ICU patients. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care, emergency management, and multidisciplinary patient care skills.

Responsibilities include airway management, ventilator support, hemodynamic monitoring, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans. Prior ICU experience and valid medical registration are required.

Qualifications

• MBBS + MD/DNB in Anesthesia, General Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Emergency Medicine or equivalent with relevant Critical Care experience.
• IDCCM / FNB Critical Care / equivalent qualification preferred.
• Valid medical registration.
• Relevant ICU/Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, stabilize, and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Manage patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, multi-organ dysfunction, and other critical conditions.
• Provide advanced airway management and ventilator support.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and manage critically ill patients using appropriate interventions.
• Perform critical care procedures such as central venous access, arterial lines, intubation, and other procedures as per expertise.
• Coordinate with specialists, surgeons, physicians, anaesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for ICU patients.
• Supervise and guide ICU nursing and clinical staff.
• Communicate with patients' attendants regarding clinical condition, treatment plan, and prognosis.
• Maintain accurate ICU records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital protocols.
• Participate in emergency and on-call duties as required.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
