General Description
You will be a part of Aon’s GBC Preplacement Broking Business and will act as key point of contact for clients/brokers “carrier’s”, providing expert advice, high quality, innovative and profitable service in accordance with the client’s needs and the agreed Scope of Service Agreement. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of insurance procedures.
Responsibilities
- Engagement with the broking teams - large, complex, global insurance contracts, involving multiple insurers and high value insurance placements.
- Using technical system and engaging with Offshore Partners to produce policy documents / invoice requests.
- Increasing the level of processing knowledge and driving continuous improvement in all areas of processing.
- Building strong relationships with UK colleagues, brokers and other internal stakeholders.
- Sharing best practice.
- Monitoring the risk life cycle / workflow to ensure policies are on track with performance targets.
- Collaborating with Client Service Delivery colleagues to meet divisional targets.
- Establish and develop effective working relationships with insurers and where appropriate, liaise with insurers as per agreed parameters and processes to support client service.
- Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company.
- Take ownership of problems and their resolution, seeking assistance where necessary.
- Strong communication skill.
Required Education & Experience
- Graduation or Post Graduation.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies
- In-depth understanding of slip documentation and premium calculations.
- Expertise in managing and handling insurance slips, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Proficiency in producing Market Reform Contracts (MRCs) and understanding their importance in the insurance industry.
- Premium calculation: strong skills in calculating premiums accurately and efficiently.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret data and solve complex problems, providing innovative solutions.
- Strong experience across the insurance services industry; candidates with slip and premium backgrounds are welcomed.
- Passionate, curious, engaging individual who enjoys human interactions and develops deep relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
