Job Title: Consultant - Assessments, Bangalore

About the Role : As a Consultant - Assessments, you will lead the design, structuring, and delivery of high-quality assessments for enterprise and university hiring use cases. You will work closely with clients, SMEs, and internal teams to build scalable assessment frameworks, manage item bank quality, and ensure assessments are aligned with hiring outcomes and candidate experience standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in assessment content, evaluation methodologies, psychometrics, and assessment operations - someone who understands what makes an assessment effective beyond just the platform or technology layer

Key Responsibilities

Own High-Impact Assessment Engagements

• You will work closely with enterprise clients and universities to design and deliver assessments that support critical hiring decisions.
• From understanding hiring requirements to building structured evaluation frameworks, you'll play a central role in shaping assessment experiences end-to-end.

Design Assessments That Actually Work

• Psychometric evaluations
• Situational Judgment Tests (SJTs)
• Coding assessments
• Domain-specific evaluations
• Work simulations
• AI-assisted item generation and review workflows

You'll bring structure, logic, and quality into every assessment experience.

Support the Assessment Content Ecosystem

You'll own and scale assessment item banks across multiple domains and difficulty levels while working closely with SMEs, reviewers, and content teams.

This includes:

• Difficulty calibration
• Continuous quality improvement
• Using AI tools to draft, expand, and stress-test items at scale
• Building review and eval loops to catch issues in AI-generated content (factual errors, bias, difficulty drift)

Bring Data & Psychometrics into Decision-Making

You'll work with assessment performance metrics and psychometric principles to improve reliability and effectiveness. Exposure to concepts like:

• Reliability metrics (e.g., Cronbach's Alpha)
• Candidate performance analysis
• Completion and dropout trends
• Using AI to accelerate analytics workflows, including pattern detection across candidate responses, automated item performance reviews, and faster iteration on assessment quality will be highly valuable in this role.

You'll work closely with:

• Universities & placement teams
• Product & operations teams
• Customer Success teams

The role requires someone who can balance consulting, operational ownership, and assessment expertise seamlessly.

Required Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in assessments, evaluation, or test development
• Strong understanding of assessment frameworks and question design
• Experience managing item banks and assessment content operations
• Familiarity with psychometric and assessment quality concepts
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment
