Job summary

Sambhav Foundation is looking for a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee construction and infrastructure-related activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site operations, coordinating with contractors and workers, monitoring work quality, ensuring safety compliance, and completing assigned work within the stipulated timelines.

Salary is determined by experience and organizational budget. Location: Sulibele.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision or civil site management.
• Experience in handling contractors, labourers, materials, and site operations.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or institutional projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction and civil maintenance activities at project sites.
• Ensure construction work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, engineers, vendors, and site workers.
• Monitor manpower deployment, attendance, material availability, and utilization.
• Ensure the quality of construction materials and workmanship meets required standards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Implement and monitor site safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain daily progress reports, material records, labour attendance, and site documentation.
• Identify and resolve site-level issues in coordination with the project team.
• Monitor construction expenses and minimize material wastage.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report progress, delays, and challenges to management.
• Ensure proper upkeep of tools, equipment, and construction materials.
• Support infrastructure development, renovation, and maintenance activities as required by the organization.

3. Educational Qualification and Experience

• Experience in commercial, Residential , or institutional, projects will be an advantage.
