Job summary

Aarvi Encon is seeking an experienced Construction Structural Supervisor to oversee structural construction and commissioning on an FPSO/offshore project in India. The role requires coordinating site activities, ensuring workmanship aligns with approved drawings and HSSE standards, and maintaining project schedules.

The candidate should have relevant engineering qualifications, offshore construction experience and may hold CSWIP 3.1/IWI/AWS QC1/CWI certifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience as Construction/SStructural Supervisor in offshore or FPSO projects is preferred.
• Certifications CSWIP 3.1 / IWI / AWS QC1 / CWI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate structural construction and commissioning activities at site.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, procedures and project schedule.
• Manage site workforce, materials, tools and equipment.
• Enforce HSSE and quality requirements throughout construction activities.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and support inspections and testing.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisory teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Construction Structural Supervisor to supervise and coordinate structural construction and commissioning activities at site. The candidate will ensure safe, quality and timely execution of structural works in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, HSSE requirements and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily structural construction and commissioning activities at site.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, procedures and project schedule.
• Manage site workforce, materials, tools and construction equipment.
• Ensure the team works with the latest approved drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Coordinate with Construction, Project Management, QA/QC, Engineering and other disciplines.
• Enforce HSSE and Quality requirements throughout construction activities.
• Coordinate site issues, resolve conflicts and support smooth construction execution and handover.
• Implement approved changes to construction plans and scope while assessing their impact.
• Monitor progress and support timely completion of project milestones.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports, highlighting achievements, issues and recommendations.
• Support site inspections, testing, commissioning and quality verification activities.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors and construction teams.

Qualification & Certification

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Candidates with any of the following certifications will be preferred:

  • IWI (IIW-S-IIS)
  • AWS QC1
  • CWI

Experience & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor / Structural Supervisor or similar role.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, Marine, FPSO or industrial construction is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural construction and commissioning activities.
• Experience in Structural Hull and Structural Topsides works.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, plans and technical documents.
• Good understanding of construction methods, quality requirements and HSSE standards.
• Strong team coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
