Deepak Chem Tech Ltd in Dahej, India invites an experienced Project Construction Planner (Mechanical Engineer) to develop, monitor, and control schedules for large-scale industrial projects.

Responsibilities include planning across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup; coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely execution; and producing weekly/monthly reports with dashboards.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Prepare Level 1 to Level 4 project schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup.
• Plan mechanical activities including piping, equipment erection, steel structures, tanks & vessels, rotating equipment.
• Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks.
• Monitor progress and update schedules periodically.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves and look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, contractors and client teams.
• Analyze delays and productivity trends; develop recovery plans.
• Develop manpower, equipment and resource histograms.
• Support project cost control and forecasting activities.
• Participate in project reviews and provide schedule insights.
• Track milestone achievements and ensure contractual schedule compliance.
• Assist in shutdown, turnaround and commissioning planning activities.

Job Summary:

The role involves planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource loading, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Prepare Level 1 to Level 4 project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Perform construction planning for mechanical activities including:
  • Piping
  • Equipment Erection
  • Steel Structures
  • Tanks & Vessels
  • Rotating Equipment
  • Utility Systems
• Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks.
