Job summary

Godrej Properties Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead large-scale construction projects from inception to completion in Mumbai. The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

The candidate should have 14+ years in construction management within Real Estate/Construction, with a proven track record of handling multiple towers and coordinating diverse teams and subcontractors. A BE Civil is required.

Qualifications

• BE Civil degree required.
• 14+ years of construction management experience in Real Estate/Construction Industry.
• Experience handling multiple towers.
• Knowledge of regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on daily basis.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
