Job summary

Godrej Properties Limited seeks an experienced leader toown P&L, manage assets, and drive profitable project delivery from land acquisition through delivery. You will lead a cross-functional team to ensure milestones, quality and customer experience across projects.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, postgraduate business education and civil engineering, with strong analytical and leadership capabilities in real estate development.

Qualifications

• Finance-savvy leadership with focus on P&L growth and cashflows.

• Exposure to financial modelling and annual business planning.
• Strong project management and PCP experience.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for overall profitability, construction milestones, customer management & NPS, and quality of the project/s. Additionally, you would be required to manage a cross-functional team & would need to be well versed with the overall value chain in the Real Estate Industry (Land Acquisition to Project Delivery).

Key responsibilities:

P&L ownership

• Asset Management - to preserve or enhance project profitability and returns
• AOP Planning - to preserve business plan
• Day to day management of the site
• Execution of project as per Business Plan
• Flagging & resolving risks to project returns during Pre-Construction Phase & Under Construction stage
• To evaluate and provide mitigation mechanism and proactively highlight critical risks and propose recommendations/options to the management for way forward

People

• Define and set work objectives/goals for team members in line with the AOP
• Reviews tasks completed by team members and conduct regular performance reviews
• Complete performance appraisals & people related processes of team
• Carry out team building & engagement activities

Process adherence & improvement

• Identify processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement
• Recommends process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity
• Undertake process improvement activities in own work area
• Comply with company defined guidelines and processes
• Adhere to project timelines

Who are we looking for?

10+ years experience with Post-Graduation from Premier B-School and BE Civil/ Barch.

Skills:

• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of critical decisions that impact P&L and Cashflows
• Exposure in Financial Modelling & Preparing of Annual Business Plan
