Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Senior Construction/Project Manager to lead and manage construction activities for major urban infrastructure works, supervise contractors, and ensure timely, quality, and safe execution of works.

You will review drawings, monitor progress and safety, coordinate with client, contractors and stakeholders, and provide technical guidance to the site team, leveraging 20+ years of experience in urban infrastructure, metro, flyovers, PSC structures, and traffic

Qualifications

• 20+ years of relevant experience in construction/project management.
• Strong experience in urban infrastructure, metro, flyover, elevated/underground structures.
• Hands-on experience in piling, PSC structures, retaining structures and traffic management.

Job description

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage construction activities for major urban infrastructure works. Supervise contractors and ensure timely, quality and safe execution of works. Manage construction of structures including flyovers, PSC girders/pier caps, piling and retaining structures. Coordinate with the client, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders. Review drawings, construction methodologies, work programmes and technical submissions. Monitor project progress, quality, safety and compliance with project specifications. Manage urban traffic arrangements and construction activities in congested areas. Identify construction issues, delays and risks and ensure timely resolution. Review and monitor contractor performance, progress reports and site documentation. Provide technical and managerial guidance to the site team.

Desired Profile: 20+ years of relevant experience in construction/project management. Strong experience in urban infrastructure, metro, flyover, elevated/underground structures or similar projects. Hands-on experience in piling, PSC structures, retaining structures and traffic management. Strong contractor and client coordination skills with the ability to lead large construction teams.
