Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Cost Management professional to oversee cost management and quantity surveying across diverse projects in the construction and infrastructure sector. You will prepare estimates, BOQs, cost plans and manage variations, valuations and final accounts.

You will collaborate with project managers, consultants and contractors, ensuring adherence to budgets and client requirements while delivering frequent cost reports and commercial updates.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in cost management and quantity surveying within the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost planning, tendering, measurement and contract administration.
• Experience in handling variations, claims, valuations and final accounts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying / cost management tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
