Job summary

Kintech GreenUrja Private Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead end-to-end construction activities at project sites. With 10+ years in site execution, planning, and team coordination, you will ensure on-time completion within budget while upholding quality and safety standards.

Experience in solar power, substations, or large-scale industrial infrastructure is preferred. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in construction management or infrastructure project execution.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects and multiple contractors on site.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, planning, estimation, billing, quality control, and safety management.
• Experience interpreting drawings, BOQs, specs and schedules.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project; Primavera and AutoCAD are advantageous.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel or work at project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end construction activities at project sites as per drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily site activities, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Monitor progress against milestones and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Supervise foundations, structural works, roads, drainage, and other infrastructure activities.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams for interface management.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors, including work allocation and progress evaluation.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports; identify and mitigate risks.
• Maintain records of progress, bills, material consumption, quality and safety documentation.

Job Summary

Kintech GreenUrja Private Limited is looking for an experienced Construction Manager with

10+ years of experience in managing construction activities, site execution, project

planning, and team coordination. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-toend construction activities, ensuring project completion within the approved timelines and

budget, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Experience in solar power projects, substations, renewable energy, or large-scale industrial

infrastructure projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise end-to-end construction activities at project sites, ensuring timely execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily site activities, manpower deployment, material availability, and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Monitor project progress against milestones and take corrective action to avoid delays.
• Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Supervise civil construction activities, including foundations, equipment foundations, structural works, roads, drainage, and other infrastructure works.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams for interface management and smooth execution of project activities.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors, including work allocation, productivity monitoring, and progress evaluation.
• Ensure proper planning and utilization of construction materials, machinery, tools, and manpower.
• Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and control wastage and rework.
• Implement site safety procedures and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, quality checks, and coordination meetings.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Identify construction-related risks, resolve site issues, and elevate critical matters when required.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, documentation, and handover activities with the project and commissioning teams.
• Maintain records of site progress, contractor bills, material consumption, quality reports, and safety documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in construction management, site execution, or infrastructure project execution.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects and multiple contractors at project sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, estimation, billing, quality control, and safety management.
• Experience in interpreting engineering drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction schedules.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project; knowledge of Primavera and AutoCAD will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel or work at project sites as required.

• Solar power plant construction and renewable energy projects.
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and associated infrastructure.
• Electrical substations, transmission infrastructure, and pooling substations.
• Industrial, commercial, and large-scale infrastructure construction.
• Civil works, equipment foundations, structural works, and project execution.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage construction activities from planning through execution and handover.
• Strong experience in contractor management, resource planning, site coordination, and project monitoring.
• Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously while maintaining quality, safety, cost, and schedule targets.
