Job summary

Talent Hr Networks is seeking an experienced professional for Automotive Connector Design & Development in Pune, India. The candidate will design and develop automotive connector systems and related components from concept to validation, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5–10 years of hands-on experience in automotive connector design, strong knowledge of electrical connection systems, and proficiency in 3D CAD tools (CATIA V5, SolidWorks, NX).

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in automotive connector design & development.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical connection systems.
• Hands-on experience in 3D CAD CATIA V5 / SolidWorks / NX.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up.
• Experience in plastic/metal component design and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of automotive connector standards such as JASO, ISO, DIN, USCAR, LV124/LV148 will be an advantage.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of automotive connectors, terminals, housings, secondary locks and seals.
• 3D/2D modelling and design using CATIA V5 / SolidWorks / NX.
• Conduct design calculations, GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Prepare and review DFMEA, design specifications and technical documentation.
• Support NPD, prototyping, product validation and testing.
• Conduct design reviews and resolve design-related issues through RCA/problem solving.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers, manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
• Support VAVE, cost reduction, localization and standardization.
• Contribute to development of next-generation connector technologies.
