Job summary

Optimum Solutions is seeking a seasoned PROS CPQ specialist to drive pricing and control implementations. You will design architectures, implement RESTful APIs, and optimize performance across PROS CPQ and related ecosystems.

The role emphasizes strong PROS experience, macro/Java coding, and integration work with Salesforce or Dynamics. Location is India with WFO, and C2H engagement is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall CPQ experience with PROS.
• Hands-on PROS SMART CPQ with 2+ end-to-end implementations.
• MACRO coding and core Java proficiency.
• Ability to write business rules and constraints; configure product links and bundles.
• Strong understanding of Quote to Cash processes.
• Working knowledge of SFDC Sales/Service Cloud; integration with PROS or CPQ tools is a plus.
• PROS certifications such as PPSS Smart CPQ, Quoting models, product portfolio design, etc.

Responsibilities

• Support business analyst in user story definition / sizing.
• Develop detailed Technical design and architecture to implement PROS Control/ Pricing per client.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Optimize application performance for scalability, responsiveness, and efficiency.
• Develop data exchange modules between PROS CPQ and other ecosystem.
• Implement Pricing & Analytics functionalities using PROS Pricing Solution.
• Assist in overcoming functional / technical changes through configuration / customization.
• Support in defining integration mappings and actual Integration with external applications.
• Liaison with PROS Product team in overcoming the PROS Pricing product issues.

Must-Have

• 5+ years of overall CPQ experience - PROS
• Proficiency in PROS SMART CPQ with a good understanding of the overall ecosystem -with minimum 2 end-to-end PROS CPQ implementation
• Hands-on experience in MACRO coding & core Java
• Should be well versed in writing Business Rules and Constraints and be proficient in setting up Product Links, Bundles etc.
• Should have a good understanding of the Quote to Cash process
• Working knowledge of core SFDC Sales Cloud/ Service Cloud and Salesforce/ Dynamics integration with PROS and exposure to other CPQ tools is an added advantage
• PROS certifications such as PPSS Smart CPQ, PROS PPSS, Quoting 203 Smart CPQ, Quoting 310 Quote Modelling, Quoting 320 Product Portfolio Design etc.
