RGBSI in Hyderabad, India is hiring a Configuration Engineer with a mechanical background to support orders from Sales and Engineering. You will create, modify, and maintain Order BOMs and ensure alignment with customer requirements on capital equipment projects.

The role involves coordinating with cross‑functional teams on production floor issues, managing NSRs and CTL requests, and ensuring timely OBC submissions within launch timelines; hands‑on experience with SAP is expected.

Qualifications

• B.E in Mechanical is preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience required.
• Face-to-face interview is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Order BOMs for assigned orders.
• Manage customer-specific capital equipment systems per Sales and Engineering.
• Review and implement NSRs.
• Process CTL requests in the CRM Portal.
• Submit OBC requests for SPM reviews within 8 weeks of launch.
• Process NSR/PCA workflows via Cennit Connect Portal.
• Create and update Order BOMs per requests.
• Review Engineering Change Orders on BOMs.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve shop-floor issues.

Configuration Engineer

Experience and Qualifications

• B.E in Mechanical preferred.


• Experience-4 to 6years.


• Interview Mode- Face to Face must.

Skills must- Engineering change management, handling complex bill of material, SAP T-Codes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Order BOMs for assigned orders.


• Manage customer-specific capital equipment systems based on requirements defined by Sales and Engineering teams, converting materials from Quote into Sale Order.


• Review and implement customer-specific requirements (Non-Standard Requests - NSRs).


• Process CTL (Change Tracking Log) requests in the CRM Portal, including Initial Slot CTL Request, Config CTL Request, and Push/Pull/Drop/TSD (target ship date) CTL Request.


• Submit OBC (Order BOM Change) requests for SPM (System Project Manager) and Management Review when material must be added to the OBOM within 8 weeks of the launch of the affected module.


• Process NSR / PCA (Product Change Analyst) Workflow Requests through the Cennit Connect Portal based on input from NSR PEs, completing OBC Activity prior to implementation and approval of the Workflow.


• Create and update Order BOMs based on requests.


• Review and implement Engineering Change Orders (COs) on sales order-specific Bills of Materials (BOMs).


• Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve issues on the production floor.
