Job summary

Career Tree Hr Solutions is seeking an experienced Aircraft Technician for structural and composite repairs on LEAP engine components in India. You will perform inspections, repairs, and documentation to OEM standards, ensuring airworthiness and on-time delivery.

The role requires a Diploma/ITI in Aircraft Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering, with at least 4 years in MRO/Aerospace and hands-on skills in riveting, bonding, sealing, and composite patching.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Aircraft Technician in MRO / Aerospace environments, specifically with Composite & Structure.
• Hands-on experience in riveting, bonding, sealing, composite patching, trimming, drilling, sanding.
• Repair of fan blades, fan cases, nacelles, thrust reversers, and cowlings.
• Record all work in job cards and follow traceability norms.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and repair of composite and metallic components as per job card and work scope.
• Prepare surfaces and apply composite patches or metallic repair as per OEM specs.
• Perform riveting, fasteners replacement, sealant application, and rework if required.
• Operate tools and machinery in accordance with safety standards.
• Record all work done in job cards, follow traceability norms, and adhere to quality standards.
• Assist in training junior mechanics/operators if required.
• Suggest improvements in repair methods and processes.
• Follow OEM repair schemes and deviation approvals.

Mission Objective

• To perform structural and composite repairs on LEAP engine components ensuring compliance with aviation standards, safety regulations, and OEM guidelines, contributing to on-time delivery and airworthiness.

Objective Contribution

• Carry out structural and composite repairs, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. Reduce turnaround time (TAT) for LEAP engine component repair. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in repair processes and techniques. Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all repair work.

Parameter of Evaluation

• Quality of repairs (based on inspection reports and audits).
• Turnaround Time (TAT) adherence.
• Compliance with regulatory and safety standards (EASA, FAA, DGCA).
• Adherence to Work Instructions and SOPs.
• Tool and equipment handling accuracy and safety

Principal Responsibilities and Authorities Skills / Qualifications

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
